Internationally renowned Jewish lecturer to speak about inclusive Orthodoxy at synagogue
An internationally renowned Jewish speaker will give a lecture on 'inclusive Orthodoxy in the 21th century ' at a synagogue.
Dr Naftali Loewenthal will speak at Leytonstone and Wanstead Synagogue at a free event on Thursday, March 8.
Dr Loewenthal, who lectures at The Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies in University College London, will explore the nature of Jewish identity in contemporary times.
The synagogue in Fillebrook Road, Leytonstone, is home to a Modern Orthodoxy community. Doors open at 6pm for the event.
