Five men arrested after with the murder of a teenager in Walthamstow have been released by police.
Kacem Mokrane, was attacked by a gang of men in Mount Pleasant Road on November 16 last year.
The 18-year-old, from Walthamstow, was taken to hospital by died of his injuries four days later.
Two 17-year-old boys and a 19-year-old man were subsequently arrested on November 27 at addresses in east London on suspicion of murder.
Officers investigating the killing also arrested a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of of murder the following day.
However, detectives from the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command say all five of the males have now been released pending further investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Whellams, leading the investigation, said: "Kacem was attacked and murdered in the street.
"Our investigation continues to make progress but I would ask anyone who has information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact my officers.
"It could prove vital to this investigation."
