A LUCKY resident or company has the chance to decorate Epping's Christmas trees and illuminate the town.
Epping Town Council is searching for a contractor to illuminate four or five key festive trees, by hand, between November 10 and 20 this year.
In addition, a second contractor is sought to put up 120 small angled Christmas trees in the High Street, running from the district council’s civic offices to the small shops beyond Tesco and the top of Station Road.
Trees must be put up, taken down and returned to safe storage.
They will also be required to dress and undress the show-stopping centre piece tree in the piazza, which will reach 25 feet high.
The successful contractor will be required to meet Epping Town Council on site by arrangement, prior to installation, to agree the method statement.
