A TRAIN ride followed by a free guided walk is being held to coincide with English Tourism Week.
At 2pm on March 25 Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership will lead a tour from Wrabness railway station, where the guided walk will begin at 2pm.
The walk will last an hour and will pass by Grayson Perry’s ‘A House for Essex’, also known as the ‘gingerbread house’.
A tea party at the Wrabness Community Café will follow.
Jayne Sumner, Rail Engagement Manager at Essex County Council, said: “We want to celebrate English Tourism Week and show everyone what this beautiful part of Essex has to offer.
“Your train ticket will include a free tea party and a guided walk, which includes a chance to see the striking surroundings of Grayson Perry’s gingerbread house.
“What better way to spend a relaxing Sunday and there’s no need to pre-book – just pop along on the train on the day.”
