A lifelong Tottenham Hotspur fan presented a first team forward with an award.
Mike Halpin, who works in the Metropolitan Police Service, presented Son Heung-Min with the PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month, at the Wembley Stadium.
Mr Halpin, who grew up in Chesham and started going to matches in 1991, saw the opportunity to meet Son on the club’s social media account.
The 35 year-old Loughton resident said: “My dad is a huge Spurs fan, so I started going to matches when I was a kid in the Gary Lineker era. I voted for Son because he truly plays with his heart, and it shows, he’s had a great month. It really matters to him and you can tell he really cares about the club.
“Presenting Son with the award at Wembley made me feel like a kid at Christmas. With all the players around, you can’t help but feel a bit like a big kid. I was really excited and had the chance to meet some legends.”
