A CRACK team of baby specialists will provide advice, workshops and support at the second Epping Forest Baby Show.

Epping Forest mums Natalie Goldsworth, a baby masseuse, Liz Napthine, nanny agency owner, and Karen Laing, a pre and post natal exercise expert, realised the area was lacking services for the new born.

After one children's centre in Buckhurst Hill and two in Harlow were closed in 2014, accessing to baby related services in the area became more difficult.

In 2015 they brought togetheer businesses, the health visiting team, children centre's workers and breastfeeding networks for the inaugural event.

On Saturday, March 24 the show returns at St John's School, Epping, with an expanded programme backed by Epping Forest District Council.

Mrs Laing said: "We feel new mums really need community and support and I notice through my classes that parents are seeking other parents to just be around and be both mental and physical support.

"We’ve got great support from local businesses with 25 exhibiting on the day. Many of which are local solo start-ups and independent businesses spanning Epping Forest.

"We hope the show will grow in future years to provide a hub for new parents, more interactive events with more demonstrations and classes and eventually be able to create profit to reinvest in community support projects for new parents, such as post natal rehabilitation or mental health support."

The event runs from 2.30pm to 5pm.
