A RAFT of activities are on offer this half-term to entertain little ones off school.

On May 29 Epping Forest multi-sports day takes place at Leverton Junior School in Waltham.

From 9am to 4pm five to 14 year-olds will be able to run themselves ragged for £16.50, with everything from tennis to American football, indoor and outdoor sport on offer.

9.15am to 3.30pm (Registration 8.45am – 9.15am, collect 3.30pm – 4.00pm)

The same event takes place on May 31 at Loughton Cricket Club.

At Epping Forest District Council's communities training room on Hemnall Street a customise your own denim evening takes place on May 29 from 6pm to 8pm.

For 11 to 16 year-olds, crafters will learn to distress, embellish and bleach denim to make a one off fashion special.

Attendees should bring along their own denim jeans or shirt to customise.

Earlier on the same day from 10am to 12pm, again in the communities training room, five to 15 year-olds can make salt dough jewellery.

Both crafting sessions cost £5.50 each.

On May 30 from 10am to 12pm at The Stubbles in Loughton, all ages can bug hunt, den build and listen to live stories in the forest for £3 a child.
