More than five hundred people are expected to attend a pre-election accountability assembly this evening.
The biggest pre-election gathering of residents and politicians before next week’s local election is due to start at 6.45pm tonight at Goshia Hall in Walthamstow.
Representatives from nine schools and faith institutions will hold Labour leader Clare Coghill and Conservative leader Alan Siggers accountable for issues including affordable homes and youth crime.
Waltham Forest Citizens have organised the event and will work closely with the future council leader to ensure promises made tonight are kept in future.
