Officers who located and recovered three stolen vehicles have thanked members of public for their vigilance.

Pc Paul Harrison and Pc Andy Cook, based in Loughton, were on patrol when they received numerous tip-off relating to the appropriated motors.

They would go on to recover a stolen Land Rover in Margaret Close, Waltham Abbey, on Sunday, April 15, a stolen BMW in Nevill Way, Loughton on Saturday April 21, and a stolen Ford Transit Van on Fairfield Road, Ongar, on Monday, April 23.

Pc Harrison, of Loughton Community Policing Team, said: “As community policing officers, we regular carry out patrols and speak to members of our local communities.

"Thanks to their vigilance, we have since been able to reunite the owners with their vehicles.

“Each vehicle was stolen from other police force areas and we have since updated their investigating officers.”
