A woman who set up a foundation to help domestic abuse victims take back control of their lives will lead a workshop this weekend.

Pauline Fynn launched the Believe Foundation in November 2017 and focuses on a holistic approach to help victims transform their lives using a process known as the ‘butterfly approach’.

Ms Fynn, a published author, will host the women only event at Winchester Road Methodist Church in Evanston Avenue, Highams Park on Saturday, April 28.

She will speak about the signs to watch out for when identifying abuse and the support available to women.

The workshop is organised by Highams Park Mental Health Forum and will start at 4pm.

The forum, which was founded by Munish Chopra-Evans of Walthamstow, plans to hold a workshop for male survivors of domestic abuse later in the year.
