Primary school pupils making the jump to secondary school next year can register for their 11+ exams today.

For pupils wishing to start in September 2019, applications will close at 5pm on Wednesday June 27 2018.

You can only register for the 11+ test between the registration opening and closing dates.

It is not possible to register before or after these dates.

Your child will sit their 11+ exam at the grammar school they wish to attend.

The examinations will take place on Saturday September 15 2018.

On the day of the exam, there will be no parking available at either school site unless you are displaying a disable badge.

Parking in the nearby areas will be very restricted and enforcement officers will be patrolling the area.

Redbridge Council have restricted parking in the area to ensure that local residents around the schools are able to access their properties without hindrance.

A spokesman for the council said: “Please respect the privacy of local residents and do not trespass on their properties or throw litter in their gardens.”

An open evening will be held at each school on Thursday June 21 from 6pm to 8.30pm.

The 11 plus examination board is CEM (Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring) and is part of the University of Durham.

A booklet has been created to inform parents and pupils about the 11 Plus selective assessment test. The booklet includes examples that show the range of skills needed to complete the assessment and the way questions are answered.

This familiarisation booklet is not definitive and the type of questions included in the booklet does not guarantee they will be in the final assessment.

A copy of the booklet can be found here.
