Green fingered volunteers are sought to help elderly and disabled people garden.
Voluntary Action Epping Forest wants people who can offer a couple of hours of light garden maintenance work to help people who cannot manage their gardens themselves.
Volunteers work alongside trained gardeners to help out with grass cutting, hedge clipping and shrub pruning, as well as weeding and laying weed-suppressing membranes.
The service is offered completely free of charge to those that qualify and that live in the Epping Forest district.
Volunteers are transported by VAEF vans to gardens in the Epping Forest area and work in a team of two or three people for a couple of hours or possibly a morning.
