Police searching for a missing 18-year-old woman say they are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

Sharnaly Ahamed was last seen leaving her home in Sibley Grove, East Ham, at 11am on Wednesday, (June 6).

She is known to frequent the East Ham, Leyton, Stratford, Beckton and Ilford areas.

Sharnaly is described as Asian, 5 feet 1 inches tall, of slim build, with long dark hair and at the time of disappearance was wearing a black T-shirt, black jacket, dark coloured jeans and black shoes.

She is not believed to be in possession of any money, bank cards or her mobile phone.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Newham’s Missing Persons Unit via 101.
