Housing associations are consulting the public on proposed changes to the Webbs Industrial Estate in Walthamstow.
Companies Catalyst and Swan are showcasing plans and taking public comments.
The proposed site is set to include 363 affordable homes for shared ownership, 3,390 square metres of flexible workspace, retail space and studios, employment and training opportunities, a public landscaped space and private outdoor space for all homes.
The Webbs Industrial Estate site will be renamed Blackhorse Yard and was once home to a lampshade and bulb factory.
In July 2016, the Greater London Assembly bought the site specifically to provide new affordable homes for shared ownership in the hope the area will provide much needed homes for first time buyers.
Residents can come along to find out more about the plans and have their say on the proposals on Tuesday June 19 at Gnome House, 7 Blackhorse Lane, E17 6DS from 4pm to 8pm.
