A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent after he flipped a car onto its roof early this morning.
Police came across the car in Hainault Road, Leyton, near the junction with High Road shortly after 5am today (June 18).
The man was taken to an east London police station before being conveyed to hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said his injuries were not found to be life-threatening or life-changing and he has been taken back into custody, where he remains.
