Parking permits could be rolled out in three new locations across the borough.

Waltham Forest Council is currently consulting the public on whether or not to create restrictions in Cathall Road North, Cathall Road South and the Greenman Area (E11).

If the proposals are approved, everyone who lives in the affected areas will have to pay for a yearly permit to park outside their homes.

The proposals have been put forward for Cathall Road North, Cathall Road South and the Greenman Area.

Roads affected in the Cathall Road North area are Lascelles Close, Clover Close, Norman Road, Gramer Close, Marchant Road, Lincoln Street, Mayville Road, West Street, Cowley Road, Lynn Road, Southwell Grove Road, Melford Road, Park Grove Road, Granleigh Road, Short Road, Woodlands Road and Trinity Close.

Households affected in the Cathall Road South area are in Cathall road, Apollo Place Melon Road, Orange Grove, Anglian Road, Apple Road, Birch Grove, Denmark Street, Corn Way, Pear Road and Peppermint Place.

Those affected in the Greenman Area are St Andrews Road, Poppleton Road, Ashbridge Road, Woodriffe Road, Teesdale Road, Chadwick Road, Whipps Cross Road, Preston Road, Dyson Road, Maple Road, Fladgate Road and Forest Galde.

Those who live in these areas should have already received a leaflet through the post from the council outlining the proposals.

If not, contact cpz.schemes@walthamforest.gov.uk to request a leaflet or visit the following websites to view the relevant leaflets online.

All three consulation questionnaires appear at the back of the leaflets and must be returned by post to the council.

A freepost envelope is included at the back of all of the leaflets.

The deadline for both the Cathall Road North and Cathall Road South responses is Friday July 6 and the deadline for the Greenman Area responses is Monday June 29.

The council will decide whether or not to enforce parking permits by April 2019 based on the feedback it gets from the public.
