Projects that benefit the community can now apply for grants of £10,000.
Waltham Forest Council’s annual community funding today re-opened to applications.
Each ward in the borough has been allocated £10,000 to support community projects.
All applications must be submitted by 12pm on Wednesday, July 25 and successful projects will be announced on Monday, August 13.
The second funding round will then open from October this year.
All applications need to be completed via an online form available at: https://walthamforest.gov.uk/content/community-ward-funding.
If you want to run a project this summer, there is a separate applications process, available at the same web address.
The cut off for all summer events is Friday August 31 and any project due to be delivered after this date must be applied for through the community funding application process.
