Workers will be carrying out essential repairs and works on the motorway network this week. Some works will be taking place 24 hours a day, with the potential for traffic delays.

M1 junction 6a (M25), to junction 6 Bricket Wood, Hertfordshire: central barrier repairs

The southbound carriageway will have narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place 24 hours a day.

M1 junction 1 Brent Cross to M1 junction 5, Greater London: surfacing

Work to improve journeys by carrying out surface treatments will start this week. The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am, from Monday 2 July for five nights. Work on Friday will start at 11pm.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A41 to the M1 junction 5.

M25 junction 16 (M40) to junction 15 (M4), Hertfordshire: parapet repairs

Work to maintain journeys by repairing the parapet will start this week. The anti-clockwise carriageway will have narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place

M25 junction 16 (M40), Buckinghamshire to junction 17 Maple Cross, Hertfordshire: HS2 enabling works

Work to construct new temporary slip roads continues this week. The clockwise carriageway will have narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place, with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day. The anti-clockwise carriageway will have reduced lanes width.lace 24 hours a day.

M25 junction 17 Maple Cross to junction 18 Chorleywood, Hertfordshire: parapet repairs

Work to maintain journeys by repairing the parapet will start this week. The anti-clockwise carriageway will have narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place 24 hours a day.

M25 junction 20 Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire: bridge joint replacement

Work to maintain journeys by undertaking bridge joint replacement will continue this week. The anti-clockwise carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Tuesday 3 July and from Thursday 5 July for two nights. Work on Friday will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the exit and entry slip roads.

The anti-clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Monday 2 and Wednesday 4 July. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 18 and return.

The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 9pm and 8am, on Saturday 7 July. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the M25 anti-clockwise to junction 18 and return.

M25 junction 23 South Mimms to junction 25 Enfield, Hertfordshire: electrical/pavement works

Work to improve journeys by carrying out electrical and pavement works will continue this week. The clockwise carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am, from Monday 2 July for five nights. Work on Friday will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A1(M) northbound, A414 and A10 southbound.

M25 junction 28 Brentwood, Essex: electrical

Work to improve journeys by carrying out electrical work will start this week. The anti-clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Wednesday 4 July. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 26 and return.
