Police are appealing for information after three robberies took place in less than 90 minutes in the Loughton and Buckhurst Hill areas.

The first incident on Friday (June 29) happened at around midnight in Roding Gardens, Loughton when a man in his 30s was approached by two men who assaulted him and stole his backpack.

Then, just after 1.10am, police received a report that a group of teenagers had been robbed and assaulted by three people in Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill.

Just minutes later, at around 1.15am, a man in his 20s was approached by three men in Princes Road, Buckhurst Hill who stole his bag.

Police believe the robberies may be linked and say the men described in each incident may have walked from Loughton to Buckhurst Hill or used the tube.

In all three incidents, the men involved have been described as in their late teens or early 20s and wearing dark-coloured or grey clothing.

In the second and third incidents the men were described as wearing hooded tops with the hoods up.

Witnesses or anyone with information or who has CCTV footage is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 37, 84, and 91 of 29/06.
