A beer company has brewed up a special batch in support of a primary school.
For a second year in a row Brentwood Brewery has made a beer especially for Chipping Ongar Primary School Association (COPSA) Dads.
Dubbed COPSA Gold, the beer was sold at the school's summer fete following Ongar Carnival at the end of June.
Takings on the day and part of sale's profits of COPSA Gold at The Cock Tavern in Ongar High Street will go towards the school.
Steve Reynolds, a COPSA dad, said: “Last year’s beer, Chipping Chirper was such a success, we were keen to work on another collaboration brew, especially in the school’s 50th anniversary year.
“We sold 90 pints of COPSA Gold at the fete and everyone loved it. Hopefully, customers at The Cock Tavern will sample some more and at the same time help to raise funds for the school association.”
