An award-winning Brazilian singer-songwriter will perform her first show in London this week.
Renata Rosa will visit St Mary’s Music Hall in Walthamstow Village on Thursday, July 26, bringing traditional folk songs and the sounds of tribal communities from her homeland.
The rebeca-player (traditional Brazilian fiddle) has performed in major concert halls and festivals around the world.
Renata’s 2004 debut album, Zunido da Mata, earned her the prestigious prize if the Choc de l’Année, awarded by the French Le Monde de la Musique magazine.
The concert will run from 6.30pm to 10.30pm and included a pop-up bar and kitchen.
