A large fly-tip was not cleared for a week, despite it almost entirely blocking a road.
On Thursday (July 26) Craig Jordan was driving down Ryehill Road in Harlow when he came across a large pile of soil and wood covering the majority of the lane.
He sent a photo of the dump to Harlow Council, which promptly responded: "Unbelievable! And highly dangerous - we think this is on Epping Forest District Council's section of Rye Hill Road.
"Epping, could this be cleared as a priority please? Thanks."
The district council said the tip was a "shame to see" and promised action.
Five days later however, Mr Jordan came across the same pile of waste on the same spot.
He sent another Tweet to Epping Forest District Council, which again promised action.
Mr Jordan added: "I’m just saving you guys the embarrassment of having not cleared a fly tip in the middle of the road for over a week."
