A MAN and his toddler son had all their clothes stolen at a swimming pool yesterday afternoon.
Their locker was one of three broken into while the swimmers were at Waltham Forest Pool and Track, Chingford Road, Walthamstow, between 3.15pm and 4pm.
The father and his little boy, aged about two, had to go home in their swimming trunks in a taxi arranged by pool staff because all their belongings had gone.
The other two men found most of their clothes dumped in the changing room, but one lost his jacket, his mobile phone, his wallet and all his cards. The second man had his van keys stolen among other things.
The one whose wallet was taken said: "There did not appear to be any CCTV in the locker room, which is beside the pool and separate from the changing room.
"It would make sense to me to have cameras in the locker space since there would be no invasion of privacy.
"Staff suggested the thieves must have been in swimming gear themselves so they would have had problems disguising themselves."
