War is like lighting,
snatching the lives of humans one by one.
War is like a mother losing child,
depressed and lonely forever.
War is like starvation,
spreading around the world,
affecting all people.
War is like a bird without wings, flightless, falling to the ground.

War is like a criminal,
kicking you and bruising you forevermore.
War is like having no coat or jumper in wintertime,
freezing to death.
War is like a trusted friend,
hitting you on the head with a brick.
War is like being trapped in darkness forevermore.

War is like coming home to no house and no mother.
War is like losing a family because of what you have done.
War is like ripping the pages of your life out of a book.
War is like rubbing out the words of your family.

Peace is like a flower,
being put into the hair of beauty.

Peace is like heaven,
bringing up all people.
Peace is like cute animals finding a home.
Peace is like angels,
bringing life to people.
Peace is like wiping away the face of evil.
Peace is like a man and woman in love.
