WALTHAM FOREST: Social worker banned for ignoring child abuse

A FORMER social worker has been banned from practising after it was found that she ignored reports of child abuse.

Tricia Forbes has been struck off the Social Care Register after a hearing by the General Social Care Council.

She had been accused of ignoring a 13-year-old girl's reports of being abused by her father, It was also claimed that she failed to inform the police and share information on the case.
