A PIZZA delivery man was beaten and robbed by a gang after making a delivery.
The 32 year old was confronted by a large group of teenagers who stood in the middle of Higham Street, Walthamstow, as he tried to drive off.
He was surrounded before the ring leader, described as a black male aged about 16, punched him in the back of his head under his helmet, knocking him off his moped.
The man was then robbed of £20 cash and his mobile phone, before the group ran off in the direction of Higham Hill, taking his crash helmet with them.
The robbery happened at around 7.10pm on Saturday February 23.
The victim said the group was made up of around 10 to 12 men, one white, one Asian and eight to ten black males, all wearing dark hooded tops.
