We have the desire to win, and I think Adam’s really fit

8:57am Thursday 28th February 2008

HAVING defended so solidly against Forest it was disappointing to conceded and lose the game by such a soft goal.

Nels has held his hands up and said he made a mistake, but that is the thing with keepers, because one error can prove so costly.

He has been playing really well lately and produced an excellent save from Kris Commons, but I suppose most people will only remember the shot that beat him. It was also very frustrating that we didn't create one single clear-cut chance, and I think it's the first time it has happened this season.

Of course they started with five at the back, which in someways was a compliment to us because they obviously saw us as a threat.

We would still normally expect to have got in behind them a bit more. If they are the second best team in the league though, we showed that we aren't a million miles away from them and we need to take the positives from that into our match at Brighton on Saturday.

We still haven't given up on making the play-offs and will be going there looking to win, especially as they are one of the teams near us in the table.

While the gaffer wants us to get eight wins from the next 12 games we've got the desire and belief to try to make that happen.

Not too much else has been happening around the place this week, but we do get our Vo2 Max test results at the end of the week.

It is the ultimate test to see how fit you are and also measures stuff like your lung capacity. My money is on Adam Chambers to win it, and like on the pitch I'm sure I won't be that far behind him!

Do you agree with Paul Terry that the O's can still secure a play-off spot? Have your say below...
