SPURS boss Juande Ramos believes Dimitar Berbatov's agent is only worried about money rather than his client.

The Bulgarian's representative Emile Dantchev has hinted that while his player is happy at White Hart Lane, he would welcome talks with Italian outfit AC Milan.

The Champions League holders have been linked with a move for the striker in the summer in the Italian press, and Dantchev was keen to leave the door open for a money spinning move to the San Siro.

He said: "Milan are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and if there is interest we would discuss it with Dimitar.

"If a player is happy, that does not mean he can't be happy somewhere else.'"

And Ramos believes the agent is only keen to earn a large slice of a potential £25million transfer, rather then look out for the best interests of his client.

He said: "It is the obligation of the agent to try to sell their player so they can get paid as much as possible."

"Berbatov is a great player and it is normal that clubs are interested in him. It is normal that an agent tries to do business in the transfer market.

"But Tottenham are very happy to have him and he is very happy here."
