HAVING just lost midfielder Mathieu Flamini to AC Milan Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will welcome the news that Real Madrid don't intend to actively pursue Cesc Fabregas.
The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a possible return to Spain, but while Madrid president Ramon Calderon claims he would love to sign Fabregas any move would be done completely above board.
"All the coaches love him but my policy is that it must be the player who makes the step to move because we do not want conflicts with any teams," said Calderon to Marca.
"Cesc has something beautiful as he is Spanish and this is one of my goals, to make Real Madrid more Spanish."
