ARSENAL have once again been linked with a £12million bid for Portsmouth playmaker Niko Kranjcar as a potential replacement for Alexander Hleb.
Hleb has been consistently linked with a move to Italian champions-in-waiting Inter Milan, and the Mirror understands that Wenger is already plotting his replacement.
Kranjcar, who is one of the starlets of Slaven Bilic's Croatia team, instigated England's downfall in the Euro 2008 qualifier at Wembley last November, and his father, Zlatko insists Arsenal are keen admirers of his son.
Kranjcar senior said: "Arsene Wenger has tracked him for some time."
