TOTTENHAM have reportedly identified Udinese goalkeeper Samir Handanovic as an ideal replacement for Paul Robinson.

The future of both Robinson and Radek Cerny appear to lie outside White Hart Lane and Juande Ramos has been on the lookout for a new number one, with Handanovic's name joining a list of others on the potential wanted list.

Handanovic fuelled the rumours by touting himself to potential buyers.

"I believe my future away from Udinese all depends on how well I play," he said. "If I do well at this club, then opportunities will open up for me, but that doesn't mean I want to leave."
