FORMER Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has pledged his future to Barcelona despite being linked to a summer move back to the Premier League.

Henry has not enjoyed regular first-team action since arriving in Spain last summer, having missed out to the likes of Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto'o at various points in the season.

But the French international is desperate to cement his place in the Barcelona line-up, dismissing reports that he could return to England, with Manchester City, Newcastle United and even Arsenal mentioned as possible suitors.

He told French newspaper Le Parisien: "About my future, no, I do not want to leave.

"I still have three years left on my contract here and I will still be here next year."
