EDUARDO da Silva is being sued for £950,000 by his wife's uncle over a dispute about a "working contract" the Croatia striker allegedly dishonoured.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Miljenko Radivojevic is taking the Brazilian-born striker to court over an agreement both men reportedly signed in 2003, which represents 10 per cent of the transfer that took Eduardo from Dianmo Zagreb to Arsenal last year.
The Gunners hitman is still recovering from a broken leg suffered against Birmingham City in February, and he has insisted his relative is an "imposter".
The player's lawyer Miroslav Separovic said: "They can't understand that someone's trying to take advantage of the transfer, especially someone who has done nothing for them, aside from buying him a pair of trainers."
