JONATHAN WOODGATE has told Tottenham fans that Juande Ramos is the man capable of taking the club to the next level.
Woodgate traded Middlesbrough for the capital and has since established himself as the rock at the heart of the Spurs defence. And the 28-year-old believes he is in the right place, playing under the right manager to win trophies.
"He is top notch. He has won a lot of trophies and that was part of the pull to come to Spurs, because of his calibre," Woodgate told Sky Sports News.
"We are all on the same wavelength, we know where we want to go, and Ramos is the one to take us there.
"I've loved my football since I have been at Spurs. Obviously I have had a lot of injury problems during my career, but hopefully I am over that now.
"Next season there is going to be a lot of competition for places. I have come to the club to try and win trophies. We want to win another one."
