I WANT to say thanks to everyone involved in the Lee Valley Wildlife Weekend.
I went and thought it was great.
There was a Metropolitan Police stand about cruelty to wildlife in Britain and a stand all about bats which had real bats and a real life barn owl and corn snake.
You even got to meet Simon King from the TV programme Springwatch.
I went on a guided walk looking for mini beasts and did some bird watching - the sand martins were cool.
The Essex and London Wildlife Trusts were there with arts and crafts to do and much more.
It definitely was a day out not to be missed.
