REPORTS from the Caribbean suggest that a man wanted for questioning over a triple shooting in Ilford has been murdered.
Adrian Paul, of New Development, Soufriere, St Lucia, was reportedly shot by an unknown assailant at 11:50pm on Friday, according to the Island's Star Newspaper.
He was wanted by the Metropolitan Police in connection with a triple shooting at the Red Lion Public House, Ilford Hill, Ilford, on August 10, 2005.
From eyewitness accounts, the assailant walked up to Paul and shot him four times. Police did not confirm the number of gunshot wounds.
On the UK Black in Britain website Paul was described as a dangerous individual who should not be approached.
A police press statement said no-one had been arrested in connection with the incident and investigations were ongoing.
