SPURS fans will be delighted to hear that captain Ledley King looks set to be fit for the start of the season after taking full part in yesterday's first pre-season training session.
The centre-half, who has been blighted by knee injuries during the last 18 months, appears to be well on the road to recovery after joining up with the squad.
King missed the final six games of last campaign in order to rest his troublesome knee and begin rehabilitation.
And that precautionary move looks to have paid off, with the captain possibly in contention to feature in the club's first game of the season away to Middlesbrough on August 16.
