The Royal Forest Hotel on Ranger's Road, Chingford is seen here in the 1960s.
The Hotel has been serving visitors since it was built in 1880.
However, its future is uncertain as the main restaurant and bar is now closed.
Evidence suggests it could be turned into residential apartments.
