Over 120 years separate these pictures of All Saints (the Old Church) at the top of Chingford Mount.  

Dating back to 1181, it is the oldest surviving building in Chingford.

Covered in Ivy in the 1800s, artists from far and wide would come and paint the church in what was then, a rural country setting.

The church was restored in 1930 at a cost of £6,000, donated by Louisa Boothby-Heathcote.
