On Sunday, April 21, thousands of eager runners will be talking to the streets of London to complete the London Marathon.
But alongside the brave runners, there will be a dozen more supporters along the route cheering on and encouraging the athletes to complete the 26 miles.
Whether holding up signs for a family member or a close friend, support will help the London Marathon runners every step of the way.
While supporters don't need to keep to a strict routine and diet to prepare for the marathon, there is still some key information to know.
From how to track your friends and family in the race, what tube stations will be affected and supporter spots, this is what you need to know.
How to track a London Marathon runner
When you download the app you will be taken to the homepage that gives you all the options and features available including how to track a participant.
You just head to the ‘Tracking’ section and search for the runner by their name or bib number.
It will then show the progress made along the route and if you enable your GPS, the position of the runner will be more accurate.
Along with being able to track a runner you can also find expert tips and advice, keep up-to-date with the Elite Leader board and find out results.
The app is available to download for both iPhone and Android users and you can download it for either device via the website here.
How to send a Belief Booster on the London Marathon app
Running the London Marathon takes a lot of training and support, which is why this year, the TCS London Marathon App lets you send a motivational Belief Booster.
All you have to do is “out your Belief Booster message of support and, if approved, it will appear on the world-famous gantry on The Mall as your chosen participant approaches the Finish Line.”
How to find a runner at the end of the London Marathon?
Once the race is over you will be able to find runners at the Horse Guards Parade near The Mall.
The Meet and Greet area will be labelled alphabetically and it's best to pick a letter beforehand so you know where to meet.
It's also important to know runners' bib numbers to make it easier to meet up at the end.

TfL services including the Tube, Overground, buses and DLR offer free transport for London Marathon runners but not supporters.
So it's important to make sure that supporters still have the necessary tickets/ paid fare.
