HUNDREDS of people flocked to an Erith sports centre last week to take part in a fund-raising fun day.
The centre, in Avenue Road, decided to celebrate its 10th birthday with a community event to raise cash for the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust.
The day included live music, displays from dance troupes, Charlton Athletic fun area, a five-a-side football competition, children's entertainers, stalls and sideshows as well as taster sports sessions.
The evening was rounded off with a disco and race night. Centre staff hope to have raised several hundred pounds for the charity.
