WE, the vast majority of Theydon Bois residents, are sick and tired of developers trying to cover our surrounding Green Belt with vast areas of tarmac.
This latest “car park” scheme (Epping Forest Guardian, July 31 edition) follows a previous proposal which caused a vast outcry against.
The majority of commuters who previously parked in Theydon Bois have now found an alternative. They didn’t want to pay for parking anyway.
Lay a large area of tarmac this year and next year it becomes a prime brownfield site ready for housing.
No thanks, we don’t want a new housing site on our Metropolitan Green Belt, David Kench-Jones, (by email).
