IS this another case of Epping Forest District Council gone mad?
I have just received a bill for £12.65 for sewer repairs.
Prior to the bill we had several letters relating to the problem and warning of a potential cost to each of the houses involved. The number of houses on the estate was 89.
We received two copies of each letter at this address. I suspect it cost the council more in billing and letters explaining the work than it would have cost if the council paid for it itself.
