A GROUP of swimmers from Davenant Foundation School notched up several hundred lengths during a sponsored swim for The Make-a Wish Foundation.
The seven students raised a total of £260.60 towards helping improve the life of severely disabled young people after completing their feat at the Loughton school’s pool.
Swimming development teacher Jane Hayman said: “Davenant supports this charity every two years with a sponsored swim and once again a group of committed Year 7 and 8 swimmers came forward to help.”
