BUS services across Redbridge and Waltham Forest are set to be affected today, as drivers go on another strike in a dispute over pay and conditions.
The industrial action, which started at 1am on Friday and will last for 48 hours, was called by union Unite after demands that its members who work for the First Bus Group get a standard pay package of £30,000 a year was turned down.
A spokesman for the First Group said many services across west and east London will be affected, although some services might run depending on which workers turns up on the day.
According to the company, affected services in Waltham Forest could include the W11, the W12, the 58, the 179, the 697, the 385, the 353, the 212, the 215 and the 357.
In Redbridge potentially affected services will be the 179, the 679, the W12, the 958 and the 308.
