A TEENAGER charged in connection with a fatal car crash has had his case adjourned until the result of an inquest.
Lee Barrett, 19, of Valence Wood Road, in Dagenham, is charged with careless driving following a collision last November in Pudding Lane, Chigwell, died.
Mr Russell, 60, of Longcroft Rise, Loughton, suffered serious injuries when his Renault Clio was involved in a collision with Mr Barrett’s Nissan Sunny. He was taken to hospital but later died of his injuries.
Mr Barrett was remanded on unconditional bail to appear before Harlow Magistrates court on October 21.
