A FAMILY have spoken of their anguish after a father-of-three was stabbed to death.

Winston Dowe-Stephenson, 50, was found with multiple stab wounds in a flat in Luton on September 25.

In a statement, Mr Dowe-Stephenson's family, who live in Clarenson Road, Walthamstow, said: "He was loved by everyone who knew him and was part of a big, loving family.

"He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends, especially his three children.

"The family have been ripped apart by his tragic and untimely death.

"He was always there to offer advice and support to anyone who would need it.

"We still cannot understand why someone would want to hurt him and we feel cheated that he has been stolen from us.

"We are hoping that the police will bring the person or persons responsible to justice quickly, so that everyone that loves him can start to come to terms with what has happened."

Oral Seaton, 44, of Woolhampton near Reading, has been charged with his murder and was remanded in custody after appearing at Luton Magistrates' Court.
