A TEENAGER has been banned from going anywhere in public in Waltham Forest during the night-time.
Yusef Nur, 19, was handed an anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) by Waltham Forest magistrates after being convicted of driving offences and of possessing cannabis.
Nur, of Torrington Place, Bloomsbury, is banned from all public places in the borough from 8pm and 8am.
He is also prohibited from covering his face with a mask or scarf and from being in a group of three or more people where any members of the group are "acting in a manner causing or likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress."
The police applied for the order because they believe Nur had been harassing people and committing anti-social behaviour in Leyton, around High Road, Murchison and Sedgwick Roads and Buckland Court.
A spokeswoman said: "Along with support from residents and business owners in the area, statements were collated in support of the ASBO."
The order lasts for three years.
In addition to the ASBO, Nur was also fined £300 and received eight points on his driving license.
