A MAN has been taken to hospital with head injuries following a collision between a motorcyclist and pedestrian.
The man, in his forties, was involved in the accident in Leyton High Road at 6.50am this morning.
It is not yet known whether the injured man was the motorcyclist.
A London Ambulance crew arrived at the scene near Leyton Library and took the patient to Whipps Cross University Hospital.
Police cordoned off the road, between Warren Road and St Mary's Road, causing congestion on the roads in that area for several hours.
