ON Thursday 7th May, Buckhurst Hill Community Primary School football team faced Hereward Primary in the final for the Geoffrey Little Cup, and won with a result of 1 - 0.
The team competed against many other schools in the Essex area.
Dylan Pitts scored their winning goal.
The Geoffrey Little Cup originated from Buckhurst Hill Primary. Geoffrey Little was a teacher at the school for many years and ran the sports department. Unfortunately, he died whilst on holiday in Spain from a heart attack and the cup was introduced in honour of his name.
